What is the Inzell Initiative?
An Initiative by
BMW and the City of Munich to jointly discuss traffic problems and look for solutions apart from current political discussions..
Within the framework of the Inzell Initiative all actors involved in traffic issues from politics, industry, science and public office are participating in an in-depth dialogue about traffic problems in the Greater Munich area. By working together they develop sustainable solutions.
How the Inzell Initiative works
Pressing traffic concerns in the Greater Munich area are discussed in the plenary workshops – lastly on November 26th, 2009 in München. The results of these discussions held in working groups and the plenary session are laid down as theses and project ideas. Between the plenary workshops which are held every one to three years, the subsequent strategic and contents-oriented discussion is held in so-called forums. Specific projects are also formulated here. The decisions of the plenary workshops are always serving as guidelines. In organisational matters each forum is headed by a patron, resp. his institution. Interested individuals and persons concerned are making contributions. The „Round Table“ of Inzell is growing in size, more and more institutions are participating in the discourse. |
